Tilly Kearns scores six in USC women’s water polo’s 18-5 win over San Jose State

San Jose, California. — A final 18-5 Trojan victory at the West Valley College Aquatic Center today saw a 13-ball surge for the third-ranked USC women’s water polo team to keep host No. 13 San Jose State out of reach. Tilly Carnes set a career high with six goals, and Bailey Weber Four more were added to the Trojan Horse cause to help make it a victory weekend for USC. The Trojans improved to 15-2 overall and 4-0 in MPSF after a 10-8 win over Stanford at the weekend.

The game against the Spartans got off to an early start as San Jose State tied the game early and was well within the middle of the second quarter.
